Your Alluring Shine
Under the seamless sky of satin sheen
as the reflection of the mesmeric moon holds you
I float on the waves of the stardust surge
your pristine patina I try fondly to touch.
That’s how my dormant desire is enticed
by your shimmering radiance in the moonshine
as my eyes are covered by the tapestry of dream
weaved with the threads of your hued longing.
You bejewel like the crown of the pearly dew
the beguiled blades of grass of the flushing meadow
I call my yearning that rolls out to where you are
on the new turquoise trail traced out only for me.
The true essence of love I then perceive
in the aria of your tinsel gleaming within me
the enchanting luster of your alluring shine
I absorb in my heart’s horizon to glow forever.
