You spin me right round until I'm an appropriate temperature

"Endlessly fascinating..." Truths are in that phrase As are lies or misunderstandings Perhaps myopically unintentionally misleading I'm endlessly fascinated by something right now The whirring, incessant ~ almost Until I tire or simply forget Distraction quite impactful For instance some microwave porridge (chocolate flavour) has just pulled me from my thoughts How could porridge compete with fascination? Everything competes and the measures are difficult to fathom Comparisons worthless As the world just doesn't spin that way Ha - spin! That microwave porridge won't quit seeking my attention Not until wholly consumed or discarded Then I'll never think of it again Thanks for the wisdom Microwave Porridge

A very fun read. I thought maybe this would be a parody of that old song you spin me round like a record. Haha

Yes, there's something about waiting for the microwave that is contemplative. Not enough time to do much else, but stand and stare and think. I like the line, 'The whirring, incessant ~ almost' to me speaking of the gadget driven meditations. Jeanette :)

Ah yes, the fascination that doesn't let the distraction distract. I do that reheating the tea. The microwave should be next to my desk, or vice versa.

Thank you Jeanette - I'd wandered away from the microwave despite it's unbroken promise of producing porridge in 2 minutes. I returned when the porridge was almost cold haha. I claim to like it like that if anyone questioned it :)
