You Never Know

I always say you never know, what may happen day to day A tree fell on my house last night You never know what happens next or comes your way It certainly caused quite a fright I am ok, but now roof damage to fix And a broken scooter as well Many things are thrown into the mix All day with insurance calls, since it fell Count your blessings such as I am, being alive But, things can happen suddenly and in sequence too All a reminder to hope for the best, as you strive Make the most of the good moments you go through! I can imagine the headache it has given you trying to sort things out. Thankfully you are alive and able to do so. We just never know what each day brings. Tom

Yes, Tom. It is going to be a while too. Allstate claims 72 for an adjuster to see it due to NH considered a possible catastrophe area due to storms we had? Although they were nothing like I have seen. We have had a lot of rain and again today. Yes, I am very fortunate to be alive. It hit near the bedroom and huge piece near propane tank. We never know what each day brings for sure. Thank you for commenting on my rambling stress poem :)

Heidi, thank goodness you all are ok. What a frightening experience. So sorry, for the fright and the damage. You are right, we never know from one moment to the next. Your poem is a good reminder of this. And it is beautifully written. Don't know if I could have pulled it off, very gracious.

It's good to wax philosophical, Heidi. Good poem about scary event. I had a tree fall on my house one day and I was just about 2 feet from it. And then there's all that "stuff" you have to do to get your life back in order. Glad you're okay. My sympathy!
