you live in a jungle

I think this might have been one of the largest rat snakes ever, I said. Forgetting our resident Texan was sitting at the table. He pulled out a photo of a gigantic snake, and claimed it was in his back yard. You live in a jungle? I challenged him. I do now, he told me. We are in Kansas folks. As far as I know, there are no jungles here. He would not back down. Because he is a Texan. And everything is bigger and better in Texas. Another reminder to not tell stories when he is at the table.
