You loved me l loved you You left me I withdrew ~~~ I struggled You were free My life changed Sad and empty ~~~ Time passed I healed Never the same My wounded heart sealed ~~~ You gave me life I watched yours end Forever in spirit now My beautiful mum, my teacher, my friend! ~~~

You are here, Deb, because your mum was here. Just as you are a part of her, she is a part of you. And through the generations this will remain true. In a thousand years, if a distant descendant of hers, and hence, yours, cures all cancers, stops a war or invents something incredible… that’s down to your mum, or you. You naturally miss your mum, but she’s right there… in you… in Your mirror… in your every thought. A wonderful heartfelt tribute.

Thats how l felt before she passed away…l thought l wouldn't survive without her even as a grown married woman!….l dreaded the day….but here l am , l got used to my new normal in time! Thankyou SO and enjoy and spoil your lovely mum! Debx

This is such an emotive poem, sweet Deb. I can feel these vulnerable emotions in my heart's cores as me and mum have the strongest bond too & I can't even imagine myself it any other way. Sigh, this really made me so emotional and tear up too, I'm so sorry for your loss.. Sending you so much love and light, always. Hi my lovely IE….thankyou for your sweet kind words as per usual. My mum died a very long time ago but l do write alot of poems about her as writing about my love for her comes so easy as it is straight from my heart. She was a wonderful human…brave, kind, hardworking and funny. She had a cheeky nature and was mischievous like me!! We talked,laughed, sang, danced together and were very mischievous and silly! We were always together and our bond was mighty! I miss her soooo much! Thankyou sweet girl….Debx
