You are my love, and I am yours,
you're the rudder, and I the oars.
I am the arrow; you're the snare
and the answer to my prayer;
when I take a breath, you're the air.
You found me stuck behind closed doors
and took me to see foreign shores,
revealing a whole world out there.
You are my love.
We fight battles, but never wars,
refereeing games without scores.
As burning flames of passion flair
forging one heart that two can share,
we meld together at our cores.
You are my love.
