I can't drive your demons away, believe me, I would if I could. But you must battle them alone, for they're impervious to me. Try to understand, if you can, I can't drive your demons away. For they reside within your mind, fueling paranoia's fear. Schizophrenia whispers lies till you cannot tell false from true. I can't drive your demons away, for they only pretend to flee. I can steady your trembling hand and assure you that you are loved. But no matter how much I cry, I can't drive your demons away.

WOW. Such a beautiful poem of love. A definite FAVE for me, Emile. I am not a big fan of punctuation in poetry but I love the value of the comma in these lines: "I can't drive your demons away for they only pretend, to flee."
