You Are Among Friends
You know you are among friends
When you can tell the same story
They have heard six thousand times
And they act like have not heard it ever before!
You know you are among friends
When they tell you the truth
About something you have done or said
That does not make you sound as kind as you can be.
You know you are among friends
When you can be goofy and playful
And no one says something mean or snotty
or asks “what are you on?”
