You And I

In the midst of the winter, You and I, In bed, I feel a sudden rush, And you seem to feel it too, Because you hold me closer, Keeping me warm, Drawing me nearer, Closer to your chest, Your hands winding around my waist, Like snakes slithering up a tree, Slowly, I turn in place, So I face you, Looking at my own reflection, In your pupils, The fragile moonlight, Creates a silver lining, Around your hair, The more I stare, The more I seem to love you, And I didn’t even know, That I could love you more than I do, I close my eyes, And let the gap, Between our lips, Close too
