You Stole My Heart
You stole my heart
a long time ago
just when I was not looking
as I was trying to find myself.
You stole my heart
when the world was changing
and decisions were unsure
Not knowing where to go.
You stole my heart
and I may have given it unwilling ly
unsure of just what love was
in the age of growing up.
You stole my heart
though I took the lead
and you followed
never ever looking back.
You stole my heart
and
I never realized it
until now.
