You

Lying in my bed, Your face appeared in my head, Along with the warm caress from your palms. The face that always brought me joy and security, The palms that used to hold me tight, Your scent, Your temperature, Your hair, Your smile, Those which I will never forget. His face, Different from yours, His palms, Bigger than yours, His scent, Fresher than yours, His hair, Softer than yours, His smile, Just as healing as yours. In a world in which no certainty can be made, I choose whatever is in front of me. Yet I will forever lock the journeys we had together, These were simply too precious to give up.

forgive me if i misinterpret! the appearance of a former lover whilst with another can be quite disconcerting, personally i choose to hold onto the success of a former relationship to be carried over and allow me to love even better again! i thoroughly enjoyed your poem, it is the kind of thing i consider to myself, time to open up!
