Yosemite Sam

by me kyle walker caycay son for fun not contest

Yosemite Sam always stumbled upon a jam. Each time he would yell ' tarnation.' Altercations most have caused elation.

What do you call it when you die and then come back to life as a hillbilly? Rein-tarnation! Ha! Good one, CayCay!

Hey Kyle! Your Yosemite Sam poem totally made my day. You’ve got such a fun rhythm going, and the “tarnation” line is classic! I could hear Sam’s voice in my head as I read it. You’ve nailed the clerihew style and gave it your own twist. I hope you keep writing more of these and your sense of humor and rhyme are spot on. Big high five from me, and tell your mom she’s got a poetic powerhouse on her hands! - Blessings, Kyle, Daniel

Hi Kyle! Great poem! I love Yosemite Sam! Thank you Kyle for the laugh and smile! I haven't done that for awhile. I also think it is a hoot, when Sam calls Bugs "long-eared galoot!"
