Yet We Can Truly Change If We But Try Are we just dust blown in chaotic winds, Or driftwood snagged around river bends? Ghastly ghosts of a once greater being, Content to crawl along without seeing? Or lost seeds sprouted in ancient dark ground, Whose dying makes not even a loud sound? Here under sorrows and a hiding sun, We oft rip and tear, calling such great fun, Thinking we are in control and much more Existing as nothings, on darkened shores!
