Yet To Be
...for Juvie
From a deluge to a trickle,
from a roaring to a sigh,
time passes, irretrievable,
where did the hours fly?
I thought of kites and butterflies,
of seasons never ending,
of wishes, dreams and fantasies,
forever was I spending.
But now I treasure memories,
the pendulum has shifted,
I think of pleasure still to come,
with you I have been gifted.
Butterflies will e'er delight me,
kites will set my soul to flight,
you have set my heart to beating,
bliss is now my true delight!
