Yet a Little While

For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens and the earth ... Hag. 2:6 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll ... Isa. 34:4 It won't be long, not very long at all God's gonna come make a curtain call That's when it will be the end of everything When the last act is over, how were you living? Were you living good and righteous, if so ... then you should know that you got a seat at the front of the bus Going glory bound, last train tracking to heavenly ground But, if you weren't living right, you were living bad ... living incorrect Well, God got a book of deeds, and written therein is everything God never forgets So yet a little while, God's gonna roll ... yes, roll up the heavens like a scroll What? You didn't think God was in control He's gonna shake it all up, melt it all down Make a new heaven and earth Create everything anew with style ... yet in a little while

Interesting title, Freddie. : ) Time treats us in strange ways. Makes me think of 3:10 to Yuma, The Last Train to Clarksville, and Last Train from Gun Hill.

For me I won't trust in my own deeds but rather the Sacrifice of my Savior which washes away my sins. It is my thankful heart that makes me want to please my God. I am expecting His return and hope that the life and person he transformed provides Him some measure of pleasure.
