For humankind, his sacrifice was great.
He gave so much to end the grip of death.
To be scourged, nailed and feel the pangs of hate
forgiving all they did with his last breath.
Yeshua, Lord, our Savior, he is known,
granting full pardon for all our wrong deeds.
He does not give the world for us to own
but a promise to meet our daily needs.
He is black, yellow, tan, red, brown and white.
He offers rest, peace, calm and love within.
Changing the darkness to spirit filled light
no other gave so much to war with sin.
We "Thank you" Yeshua for by your stripes
there is God's great gift of eternal life.

correction: Jesus' name in Hebrew was “Yeshua” which translates to English as Joshua. Yeshua means salvation.
