I lived a short poem yesterday
With the sun rising as a bouquet
Beautiful pale yellow roses on display
'Pon the blue sky thrown in an array
From the garden the birds entertained
New heights their voices sought to attain
The ripe fruit upon the vine dazzled in dew
Soon filled baskets and not a just a few
Prepared veggies for a summer noon meal
So much to do it seemed unreal
Living a poem is not so easy to achieve
Life's daily accomplishments sometimes grieve
