'Give someone a smile, bring a little sunshine into their life' quote by Poet
Yellow is so uplifting it can chase the blues away That’s why I love sunshine, it brightens up my day Yellow are the sunflowers, which grow so very tall I see their golden faces peering over my front wall Yellow was the brick road walked on by Dorothy Gale The Wizard of Oz film’s fantastic, a superb fairy tale Yellow is the custard, served on Grandma’s apple pie I much prefer cold ice cream, that fact I can’t deny Yellow can also represent cowardice or jealousy These two personality traits do not appeal to me!

Such an uplifting poem, Jan, even the last couplet rejects two negative connotations of yellow and highlights the power of yellow. Congratulations on your win! Hugs and blessings of yellow sunshine to you!

I'm not a fan of yellow, well maybe the custard. Well wishes in the contest with your couplets.

a captivating read about my favorite color. I like putting yellow and purple together. Anyway, I liked your examples, especially the one about custard. Yum. Have a great evening, Sara
