I have nothing coming to mind, so I stared at a painting and wrote what I saw Don't shout! Don't attack me from all angles... It's all blank, unrealised - It's overload, burnt out sun Brief eclipse, cooling Then the outpouring of more It's in my brain, the noise The shame Red raw eyes and tear torn gaps The confusion ~ Two halves, fixed in place Tumbling into oblivion There's something to be learned Lost in the mess Unperceiving drowned eyes There's a door, there's a door Locked with an alarm blaring! Let me out/Let me in Nothing tallys Two many ill fitting shapes The sun/the phases of the moon Days go uncounted Thoughts slide from brain to heart Unspoken words stick in throats Take those imploding fireworks Unpack them Let them burn themselves out The fog rises We both know it It takes me first Blood stained pages Digest them Destroy the evidence Sticking plasters over the damage Tip into the light of the sun To die from the wounds Clear the scene All weathers to wash and dry Just the scratches stay The shadow and the light Indecipherable debris Nothing to shout about...
