              ********************************************
As kids, when my siblings and I worked outside, our energy fell prey to the summer heat. Though respite came when the blazing sun would hide, clouds, with the sun, can’t consistently compete. Twilight play, cool baths, and fans helped us abide those hot days, plus homemade ice cream, Mama’s treat. Thoughts of childhood summers intertwine with those of other years and seasons~~as on time flows.
