Wrong

i've been wrong so many times
i remember when i was a kid
at night when i went to bed
i used to think there was a monster in my room
then i would call my dad to come in and calm my nerves
but after puberty i came to realise that
it was only my own imagination
there was a time when i thought i was truly loved
and there was a time when i thought people hated me
like they resented my whole being
at times i was right, and other times i was wrong
people may not be who you think they are
for instance, who do you know would have thought
that Emmanuel would make it to the University of D'Salaam
our instincts are most of the times wrong
men's insticts are short of the understanding of destiny
