Writing poetry that comes to me when Thoughts come around as in a rut Distress fills those cogs again and again Excellent to write, and not to rebut Thoughts come around as in a rut Writing distracts from most life's cares Excellent to write, and not to rebut Which would shorten life, increase despair Writing distracts from most life's cares Releases tension and gives ideas Which would shorten life and increase despair Satisfying poems which explain how nature is Releases tension and gives ideas Preferable to write, and not be stressed Satisfying poems which explain how nature is I think somehow it is the best Preferable to write, and not be stressed Distress fills those cogs again and again I think somehow it is the best Writing poetry that comes to me when.... I love the way this poem cascades, Sara. As each stanza introduces a prior stanzas thought and carries it on. Reminds me of water rolling over rocks in a slope. Beautifully wrote and wholly agree with the therapeutic nature of poetry.

I agree, Sara: The more often we write the easier it comes. I am on vacation in Florida. Enjoying beach walks and sunsets. Maybe I will write soon but it it is difficult to get into the mindset here yet. Nice Pantoum. I quite like this form. Best, SuZ

Thank you, Suzanne. A vacation would relieve stress as well. I do some of my best work while on vacation at about 4 or 5 A.M. while I can be alone. LOL..Sara
