Nobody really understands the big picture Christopher, it’s all pretty mad, 100 billion Galaxies, with 100 billion stars in each one, and it all came from an infinitely tiny speck, called the Big Bang, beats me too!

I honestly find it truly fascinating David when I listen but am not intelligent enough to understand when astronomer's and theoretical scientist talk about the universe and star's Mind-blowing

And all true Christopher, we can only see the individual stars in the Milky Way, which contains about 100 billion of them, enough to keep our telescopes occupied, for a millennia or two, cheers David

Your lovely image of a planetary procession emphasizes how insignificant we are in relation to the expanse of the universe. It's mind-boggling to consider that the light we see from the stars has been traveling for millions of years. I'm a great admirer of outer space, but the idea here is that creativity knows no bounds. We have a tendency to believe that life and death are inextricably linked. And the most essential question is who draws them together in the first place.

Humongous questions Lasaad, part scientific part spiritual, way beyond our scope at the moment, Why anything at all, why just nothing! At the moment my best guess is, It’s there, because we’re here, because it has to be, otherwise we couldn’t exist in this corporeal state, Not a great answer, but it’s the only one I have, cheers David

It's amazing when you look up, the light from the stars is years old. Saw some pictures the other day taken by the James Webb telescope, they were stunning. Tom

Even the great James Webb telescope cannot see an individual star outside our Milky Way Tom, unless it goes Nova of course, so much we cannot see, yet we can hypostasise they are out there, cheers David

A lot of poofs Anaya, Works out about ten thousand stars are born and die each second, somewhere in the universe, enough to make us feel really insignificant, yet important enough to know we are part of the bigger picture, cheers David
