Would It Change Anything

I wanted to yell something mean. But I wisely didn’t. My mind said, “yell it! Yell it! Yell it! Yell it! Yell it!” But my heart said, “To what avail? What good would it do? Would it change anything?” Yes, it would have changed something. It would have changed my relationship with that person. And it would have labeled me mean.
