Worth Fighting For

Can anyone know the heart of God Who blesses those He loves with light? Can anyone know the soul of love Who keeps the soul from fear or worry? Can anyone know the One who is grace Brought to life on the edges of faith? Can anyone see that this war is a chance To discourage heartless cruelties… Despair and disillusionment – darkness That comes to life on the one who gives Their heart and soul to the hatred Instead of the hope of coming out of this War with a feeling of assurance, belief That the battle brings God all the glory? Is this war freeing the people to know… The grace of God, the faith to believe In the Savior who brings us all His love And the opportunity to discover the only True peace – that which is found in the one Who has been saved by His grace through faith So that his heart knows Jesus is the only way To gain any sort of peace in a world filled with Discouragement, despair, darkness that carries Hearts and souls to the dreaded depths of sin Where the blackest war can dispel all hope within?
