Works Unspoken

He doesn’t tell me everything is going to be ok but when I look into his eyes I know it’s the truth. I don’t tell him everything is going to be ok but I hope he can tell by the squeeze of my hand. He doesn’t tell me that he needs me but he hugs me like he doesn’t want to let go. I don’t tell him I need him but when we kiss I don’t know what I would do without him and I know he is the only one who could ever truly make me happy. He doesn’t tell me he loves me but I pray to God it’s true and that one day he will find the courage to tell me. I don’t tell him that I love him but I hope he can hear it in my voice when I say his name, and that one day I will find the strength to form the words.
