Did you ever stop to think that most wars are fought because of a disagreement between two powerful people? By the same token most anger and resentment is caused by a misunderstanding of something that was said. The more you think about the words that were said the more angry and hurt you feel. Pretty soon you have a full fledged war on your hands if not just a smouldering resentment.
Words Have Power - Be careful about what you say, when you say it and WHO you say it to. Words are also very pliable - In the hands of a TRUE ARTISTE they can be like clay in the hands of a sculptor. They can be twisted and turned any way you like to give them more emphasis, make them more colorful or even change their meaning entirely. That's how most gossip gets started and you know what a can of worms that can be. I have found most often if it doesn't involve me it might be better to keep my opinions to myself.
The Book Of Proverbs tells us that: "IN THE MULTITUDE OF WORDS THERE WANTETH NOT SIN, BUT HE THAT REFRAINETH HIS LIPS IS WISE. Proverbs 10:19
In other words: Don't talk so much. You keep putting your foot in your muth. Be sensible and turn off the flow.
