It's all the ways darkness drapes showing where light is in reality how it's part and parcel I can't look at myself but I see a reflection from your eyes sat in a circle we can tell each who we are I need to hear it to exist may I rest my head on your shoulder my friend pass light person to person compelled to run and run until I looked back I'm mid flight as you catch me stock still and mesmerised at existence unextinguished for today visible not as outer layers not as anything at all other than not the darkness

Well I can't quibble about "vibrant, intellectual" as a description - thank you :) I adore ekphrasis and it's lovely when the words flow in response to viewing a painting, thank you for your regular supportive and encouraging words that spur me on.
