Without You
I bring red roses to your grave
oh, how pleasant
the scent drifting in the air
now, rest in peace love for I am here
a bird is singing you a lovely tune
and has sent you down a pretty feather
and the baby stirs within my womb
and I come again when the leaves are withering
and the wind is making the trees sigh
oh, I sang a sweet lullaby for our baby
are you holding our boy in Heaven above
and I come again when snow has fallen white
and a gust of wind swirls my hair
and I come again when all is green and lush
and moments have turned to days and months
you were always my anchor and safe harbor
now, I am alone to find my way
without you
