Within Your Lines

~Within Your Lines~

It's within your lines 
that I lose myself
each stanza, each rhyme
Your way with words 
leave me in awe
Your always bringing a 
smile to my lips
Making me feel when 
I thought I couldn't 
I can taste each word 
you recite 
I breathe in each breath 
you describe
Love when I could see 
no love and all I have to do
is allow your breathless words 
to engulf me, pulling me in 
Embracing me between 
each of those perfect lines
Holding me even if you 
truly aren't 
Because you show me 
how to love
