Within the Sequence of Time

Away you've been, Though present, It may seem, My subconscious you occupy, The bread crumbs still left, From the trail that you took, On the path, That you raced in my mind, But now you're here, With intent, unclear Your intentions, Leave me bewildered, All I crave is your essence, And food for thought, Not the conflicting emotion, That we, did hinder, Let's pause all time, For you and I, To give life, To that which we left, Let's reminisce,In bliss, With a pleasant kiss, With not a worry, About the what or why, Kisses so pleasant, As time stands still, Let's embrace each other, You and I, With not a care in the world, But the beauty in our connection, Though conflicting thoughts, Shall try and pry
