Within a Matter of Minutes
It certainly is amazing how quickly things can change.
A day that started off peaceful has ended up with pain.
A son's acquaintance came in the house
and invited our son to go out.
Within the matter of an hour, he came back in with a shout
"He took my keys from off of me".
This just should not be.
"I must go back and confront that thief
and take back what was taken from me".
I went into his room and found the key he thought was lost.
He dropped his head in shame and tried to figure things out.
You all just don't understand the shape that I am in.
I am in purgatory and can't find no peace within."
My head began to throb from all the noise I hear.
Talking with the stronghold is tearing at my heart.
I pray, pray. and pray-When will this madness stop.
