Halloween vibes hitting early...

Do the very best of people bewitch Cast a spell to cause an itch If I close my eyes, look away Sing lalala then I'll be safe today Safe from what I do not know From being dragged into joyful undertow Where I'd sit too all toil and troubles Cackling loudly and ordering doubles The in jokes that we chant at will They barely scratch those that fear we kill But today I won't be burnt at the stake I've chosen solitude for everyone's sake Subdued all evidence of mystic flair But don't worry, it's still there (mwa ha ha haha)

Dear DD, you always leave me speechless! This is brilliant! Lol halloween is my fave time really, altho not a festive person, I absolutely love halloween! And i love how you’ve played around with words in this and this one specific line really stood out for me “ I've chosen solitude for everyone's sake” love that! What you gonna dress up as this year? Hmmm im thinking. Sending you light always

Yep Halloween is just around the corner, I don’t even have to look at the calendar, fireworks have started already; they are illegal over here, which of course makes them all the more popular, witches are cool, so is ordering doubles, but moreover Dilly Dally’s mystic flair, cheers David

Haha thank you :) no fireworks as yet round here, sensible to ban them though. I'm actually going out for Halloween this year, I'll need to get my act together for an outfit :)

I loved writing spooky limericks last year, might do so again. Halloween gifts poetic licence :)
