Autumn clouds my breath
creating contrails
of misty vapors,
that gets snatched away
by a feisty breeze.
Color swiftly
diminishes,
as the wind strips
skeletal trees.
And scarecrows
abandoned
in the fields,
welcome
Winter’s
snow.
