Winter's Scars Minichu

Winter's frosty heart still feels the frost's burn Of the vacancy of color beneath Her eyes— Now it's just white unconscious cells that turn The sun to a gray familiar gloom— While She shakes Her head in freezing spins, Unfit to bring Her name in dew. Snowstorm nigh again The evergreen pricks Flower bed absent Winter's frosty heart still feels the frost's burn, While She shakes Her head in freezing spins— Flower bed absent.

Paige, you are doing a great job in this Minichu. Your choice of words and the way you structure your sentences are impressive. The rhymes you use are on point and your descriptions are very vivid.

Well done my friend. The bitterness and vacancy of winter as reflected in her eyes is well brought out. Great diction, my friend.

You’ve written so very well about the bittersweet truth of winter and how it can be melancholic for some etc. this is so touching and beautiful. I especially love the line “ The sun to a gray familiar gloom—While She shakes Her head in freezing spins,” how deep is that .. always a pleasure reading your work talented soul. Sending you light
