Sneha, it is so wonderful to hear from you. Thank you for your lovely response to my Haiku, your generous praise is held in my grateful heart - and don't worry about the deer, its tracks disappeared beneath the falling snow rendering her invisible to the wolf.. :)) Thank you for your gracious words and for your kindness. My warmest wishes to you for a blessed and happy new year.. ~Susan

Brilliant Haiku my dear friend. Hauntingly a reminder of things in this world and in Nature now lost. A world that once was and that shall be no more..

Haunting... but written with searing truth, as Nature is so much crueler than we romanticists normally portray it. Survival of the fittest, it truly is. Happy Holidays, Susan! ~ Gershon
