Winter White
Covered by a blanket of snow
The earth is silent in slumber
Living things dormant dreaming
Of the warmth that will spark
A rebirth and renewal of life
When the sounds of spring
Sing out and ring in
Gentle flakes of snow
Dazzle and delight
A frozen softness
Of winter white
