Winter Soon Will Go

footprints left in snow

    by the passing of a doe

      ... a trail to and fro


sun shines on the ground
 
   reflects off snow all around

     .... icy patches found


winter weather cold
 
   though sun is bright to behold

       ... spring will soon unfold


buds bloom through the snow

   lifting heads to colours show

     ... winter soon to go
