Winter

West wind whispers round the eves Inside the fire flames with a flamboyant response Nowhere to go, nothing that has to be done Time to reflect on life and to rebuild strength Enjoying nature as she wears a white gown Relaxed and patiently waiting for the first green bud 10/1/14

This sounds like pleasant hibernation to me! A time for reflection till spring arrives. Noticeable alliteration. // paul
