Ah yes the memories. Building snowmen with my kids. Going for sled rides pulled by a dog team. ice skating, saving snowflakes, toasting marshmallows in the hearth, drinking hot eggnog with cinnamon on top. Nice Haiku sara. God Bless, JB

Judy, My memories were of sunny spring and fall days when it wasn't so hot but of course, the heat did not bother me as bad when I was young. Since I live in the south the fun part of winter you speak about was absent. Sara..I always loved a warm winter afternoon in the sun though.

Robert, It seems it has been a really wet fall and winter but they said on the weather the other night that we are over an inch short this year but I guess they don't carry over what we had in the fall and early winter. Sara

My childhood memories are of winter snow, which i truly loved Sara....great haiku. Harry

Harry, I don't remember but one snow when I was growing up. There was about an inch on the ground. I do remember a lot of cold days with ice spewed out of the ground though. We are not really prepared for snow and sleet here in the south so it brings some hardships for us. Thanks for the visit to my page. I am glad you enjoyed the snow. Sara

Gershon, I can't take the heat of summer anymore due to the aging process but love spring weather and when the heat drops in fall. I do remember those days of lying on the grass in late summer or early fall when I was young with the sun warming me. It was a very peaceful time in my life. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
