Wind Chimes

Wind chimes they tinkle with hellish pride ring-tingling eardrums knock-knocking on my mind sing-a-long, children with huge black eyes it started so quietly whispering of fairies and teacups and crumpets with crumbs contracting fast and furious a tortuous twister a seasonal labor pain the toxic sound off the charts the itty bitty eyes dart back and forth like a gruesome clock on the wall Wind chimes suddenly die Lifting off like a flying saucer I see them go… 8/18/2018 Sponsored by Edward Ibeh Contest: Wind Chimes

Your words enter my mind, resonate there, and force me to feel their weightlessness as they float away with the wind to sing another day in their own specular way. Emile.
