William Shakespeare

England’s acclaimed bard William Shakespeare had a father whose jobs included tasting beer! Lines from Shakespeare’s plays might put hearts aflutter or poke fun; i. e., “Thou art as fat as butter.”

His turn of phrase is certainly more interesting than a lot of his writing, though he did write some great material, maybe he too had had been on the beer at times. Take care, Richard

i actually don't like reading him, Richard. His English is too old sounding and hard for me to follow. I am sure for his times, he was very entertaining.

Jeez Andrea its a queer old unusual life..' Yet as Far as butter goes I'd say it depends on who Weilds the knife.' A spoon won't do! Though if A maids with you.? Look ignore that, just blame It all on the rhyme.' Cancel its culture, though its The norm.' Like any port when beset by storms.' Thanks for the post it gives a smile '

Its true Shakespeare's plays included nonsense section or phrases, because much of his audiences of the day were uneducated and had no idea what the plays were about. To entertain them he had silly portions which they would all laugh at. Your poem describes this perfectly. Nicely done.
