Will To Learn

Through the years which have been many I have become a titch smarter and wiser My teacher through life have been my eyes I mimic what I have seen and then create it. My knowledge comes from mankind's abilities When I was in the 7th grade I could not read or write I wasn’t dumb or stupid I was on medication That wired me up to the max so, I couldn’t sit still I taught myself how to read and write over time Then came poetry which I am still trying to figure out If you don’t open your eyes to life, you will never learn If you are missing the will to learn then you can never teach Without knowledge no matter what kind of knowledge it is You will never know if someone is lying or telling you the truth Experience is how I learned to read and write Without my will to learn these written words I would have never gotten 1st place in this contest, lol Contest: It’s a part of me-Life and the perceptions and philosophies you hold Sponsored By: Silent One Date Created: 11/13/2020
