Wild Flowers
In fields beyond
wild flowers bloom
They cluster fair
everywhere
Colors cheery
romantic and naive
An innocence of nature
for us it deceives
Looking fragile
they grow on
Against heat
before the wind
Thrist yet they bloom
Beautiful and forever young
they color our imaginations
Up rocky soil
a ways to toil
On a dusty trail
wild flowers delight
Simple beauty smiles
looks like another good day
