Why The Wild Flowers Grow

I sense a kinship (why the Wild Flowers grow) how wildly they grow freely they grow unkempt fields Spring's showery quench seeming no care of pruning -- Sun the selfless charge of Nature's light grooming In season's dusk, green leaves dutifully giving way for skeletal presence of leafless far more somber trees such ordained passing~ all for renewing, for ultimate re-blooming -- a toning reminder as I freckle, yawn and creak -- my perennial soul, like that of the Wild Flowers is faithfully, blessedly attended under God's eternal, loving keep --

Often, leaving plants to God, is better than messing with them yourself. Your poem awakes me.

When in harmony with God, we are co-creators -- acting alone, thinking we know better, we are more independent destroyers. You are so right. Blessings my friend.

God takes care of everything. The wild flowers grow and blossom unattended by human hands. Yet they thrive under God's care. We too are wild flowers under the eternal care of our Heavenly Father. Beautiful poem dear Joe

There must be some reason for wildflowers. Sometimes they are gorgeous.

Dear joe this is not just soulfully moving but also very creatively phrased with excellent diction and artistic imagery! I love the flow and depth of this, especially love the lines “ Sun the selfless charge of Nature's light grooming” deep and so powerful! “ as I freckle, yawn and creak -- my perennial soul, like that of the Wild Flowers is faithfully, blessedly attended” just impeccable! Pleasure reading your work. You always write such meaningful poems. Sending you light

After reading your comment, I realize that I generally am a little more universal. A little bit of wildflower in all of us to relate to I guess. Thank you my friend. Blessings.
