Why I Write

Writing poem is my special kind of painting To portray all what’s in my mind and feeling I write to express my happiness and sadness To put in an indelible ink my travel experiences Above all, about God’s love-my greatest happiness. Writing is also a song of my rejoicing soul Admiring the amazing beauty of nature and all I also write poems to share what and who I love And those love of my life--my precious gifts from God I think writing poetry is also running in my blood. Basically, I didn’t write so much for the contests But I found it good, reminding my muse not to rest I write to share my thoughts to many wonderful poets For a give and take rapport, a symbiotic friendship Most of the time I also write for fun and to uplift myself. Sept. 1, 2022 8.10pm I have 2 uncles in USA who’re poets. They’re brothers. One was at National Library of Poetry in USA in the year 1990-2000.
