Why Hurry

Why do you hurry so? When you surely must know, That is not the way to gain a healthy glow. Will you ever learn , To walk past a fern, Or give sitting on the grass, a turn. Do you not understand, How to sit still in the stand, Or stop by the park to listen to the band. Speed may get you there quicker, But will it make you feel better, Or be good for your ticker. It may induce feelings of isolation, Or worse still ones' of desolation, If you never stop long enough to hold a conversation.
