''Why Do You Fester Like a Wound To Me''

Why do you fester like a wound to me, Belovéd? Though you are the fairer sex your restless, stormy, dangerous vortex of a wild heart is much too good to be. Your infidelity is all I see: you said, "You and me, forever," to vex me with lies and deceptions like reflex, not at all feeling guilt, shamed or sorry for me--so comprehending you is lost on me, as your most basic self lacks sense or reason! Belovéd, at what great cost have I loved you without full recompense? Betrayed and hurt, I spurn your unkind love and now see you as one not from above.
