Why Did You Forsake Me

Author Dana Redricks December 8, 2018 Why did you forsake me You hardly ever call All I ever did was love the best I could I gave you the best of me but you too blind to see The day you left you have seemed to have forgotten me All I did was love you and you what I could You took me for granted Failing to realized I took care of you like a mother would My heart is broken it feels as a piece of me has died My tears pour like rivers of pools. I'm drowning in my sorrows Hoping to see again maybe tomorrow. This pain killing slowly. I don't know how long I will last. Only God gives me the strength to make it from day to day

Diana, this poetry is so sad, but it is true, that we are forsaken sometimes, and have no idea why. Often I have discovered they are actually running away from us because they shared too much. Perhaps that is the case. Lovely poem!
