Why Are You a Controversialist
Why Are You A Controversialist?
Religion traditional, church historical,
Wooden pews squarely state in pain,
That Christianity was founded banal,
That the biblical is the archaic plain.
Archbishop Justin Welby recently said,
“Jesus the controversialist,” respect that,
As if he’s able to justify Jesus not dead,
Not the historical figure to be looked at.
Every historical person was controversial,
In their time they were each political newness,
But I think he was saying differently, to stall,
Stall at the saviour who today can bless.
Christians claiming ingenuity are just like,
Cave men claiming to be the in thing today,
‘Cos their time has been and gone, their mike,
Was with the ancient church which did sway.
I think atheism and humanism are a hot spot,
For inquiry, focus and coming up as credible,
So I don’t know why Christians claim to be not,
When they’ve already been the tenet able.
